Ferdinand the Bull is one of my favorite Disney classics.
The story was adapted by Walt Disney as a short animated film entitled Ferdinand the Bull in 1938, in a style similar to his Silly Symphonies series (and sometimes considered an unofficial part of that series).
Ferdinand the Bull won the 1938 Academy Award for Best Short Subject (Cartoons).
One of the Disney's animators and one of the Disney's Nine Old Men Milt Kahl did the voice of Ferdinand as young with only one line.

Ferdinand saved his own life--it's a good thing he would have rather smelled the flowers than fight. Otherwise, the banderilleros would have stuck him with knives, the picadors would have stuck him with spears, and finally, the matador would have run him through with his sword.
